The JEH Chapter held our November meeting on Sunday, November 13, 2022. A very interesting program on Hypertufa containers was presented by guest speaker Sandy Troy Pennington. The “Pest of the Month” presentation was given by member Beth Meehan; she discussed gall midge and how to recognize the signs of this pest and the best way to control gall midge. Our Mini-Show featured many beautiful blooms from member’s gardens. Even after Ian, we had vibrant blooms competing for the top spots in each category! Our next general meeting will be held on Sunday, January 8th and if you are reading this and haven’t joined yet, please consider attending our January meeting! You will learn a great deal about the beautiful tropical hibiscus, and meet some wonderful people too!
