Our Chapter’s Newsletter, The Hendry Herald, was named the best newsletter in the American Hibiscus Society for the THIRD consecutive year at the Annual Conference in June 2025. Vice President Denise Helfrich presented the award to retired Newsletter Editor Barbara Oster following the convention. Barb has recently retired as our Newsletter Editor after 19 years of incomparable service. We are so happy that Barb has received this recognition because we are confident this is the BEST newsletter in the American Hibiscus Society! Barbara has previously been honored as editor of the year’s best newsletter.
