A Touch of Velvet, hybridized by JEH Chapter Member Micki Dougherty, was recently named the 2026 Seedling of the Year! The award was announced at the 2026 National American Hibiscus Society Convention, held in Estero, FL and sponsored by the JEH Chapter. This is a tremendous honor and accomplishment and we are very proud of our member Micki! Congratulations!
